John & Tammy: San Diego's Morning Show

Trying old booze, tornados in the Midwest and things we can't get rid of!

Every year a group of veterans and other motorcycle riders make the cross-country trip to the Vietnam Memorial Wall in honor of those that we lost while serving our country. That includes our good friend Mike Harris who we chatted with this morning to tell us a little about the Run For The Wall and why it's such a special time.

Tammy's family was dealing with some crazy weather last night and this morning thanks to a storm that was threatening tornados in the Maddison, Wisconsin area. It was so bad that they canceled school for only the 3rd time EVER! This morning, we called to check in with her daughter Taylor to see how they were holding up.

This morning we were talking about the items that move from house to house with you that you just can't get rid of. It made Producer Jessica think of the bottles of booze in her home that had been sitting around for years untouched. So she brought them in this morning for a little taste test and we kind of wish she hadn't because they were REALLY weird!

John has a storage unit full of items he never uses yet can't seem to get rid of. What has been sitting around your house for years that you never use?

Producer Jessica goes viral, Bailey Zimmerman is looking for a wife and why John wants to save Red Lobster.

Last week Producer Jessica posted a video of a woman dressed as Britney Spears at the Justin Timberlake show. The video quickly went viral on Instagram and TikTok with over two million views! Plus, it helped her find the woman in the video and this morning we got a chance to chat with her!

Yesterday, John was extremely stressed over a trip to the bank. Why? He had to exchange some cash for euros for an upcoming trip to Italy and was worried that it would take hours. Turns out his fears were totally unfounded.
