John & Tammy: San Diego's Morning Show

A new batch of legendary toys are heading into the toy hall of fame including Nerf guns and Cabbage Patch dolls. It got John and Tammy thinking about some of the things they played with as a kid that weren't actually toys. Dirt, sticks, paper towel rolls... What was your favorite non-toy toy as a kid?

Today during "That's All I Need to Know About You" we learned that there is one quick way to get John to loose his mind... and most likely he is screaming after reading that....

On Sunday John and Tammy were honored to join Honor Flight San Diego at the Veterans Day parade. Not only were they a part of the parade, John also got to escort the two veterans he was the guardian for during his last trip with Honor Flight - twins Gary and Larry! It was Tammy's first time meeting the pair and they had an amazing time.

Kim Kardashian has a tattoo she never told us about.  It's the infinity symbol inside her lower lip.  She got it in October of 2021, after she hosted "Saturday Night Live" . . . and kissed THIS former SNL cast member and former boyfriend for the first time.  Who is he?

Tonya Harding had a birthday yesterday.  What sport is she associated with?

John and Tammy's Food Fund day #2 in La Mesa with Free Plug Friday!

This morning we were honored with a live performance of our National Anthem by Briana Brusherd. Not only is she a Navy Veteran, she's also a current member of the SDPD.

Today in honor of Veterans Day John and Tammy want to give time to local veterans to plug their businesses. We had people calling in with all kinds of services to haircuts, insurance, military themed treats, quilt making and so much more! Click here for info on all the businesses featured this morning.

It's always a great day when we get to chat with County Supervisor Joel Anderson. He dropped by the Food Fund this morning to talk about some of the really great things he's accomplished for the county and why collecting donations for the San Diego Food Bank is so important.

Yesterday was National Fried Chicken sandwich Day.  What chicken place's slogan is Eat more Chicken?
