John & Tammy: San Diego's Morning Show

Carrie Underwood opened up for THIS hard rock band over the weekend and will do so on a few more dates.  The band includes Axl Rose and Slash.  What's the band?

The Padres lost again yesterday, much to John's dismay. So instead of using his sixty seconds to talk about the team, he shared a hilarious story that happened before he went to the game yesterday!

Noelle is dating again for the first time after her divorce. She is currently seeing this guy who checks all the boxes, just one problem - he takes his skateboard with him everywhere! Why does a man in his 40s, that is not Tony Hawk, need to take a skateboard everywhere?

We are fascinated by everything we learned yesterday when whistleblowers testified before congress about extraterrestrial beings that the government has had encounters with and has in their possession. This morning, we broke down everything we learned and then asked for your UFO experience. At least we tried to get your stories, until all the calls mysteriously dropped!

It seems like everyone is sharing their thoughts on UFOs and aliens after yesterday's testimony before congress and that includes Producer Jessica's mother-in-law Sherrie. In fact, she had a close encounter with a UFO of her own and some very strong theories on aliens that may currently walk among us!

Luke Bryan says the show he's a judge on brings him joy and would be hard to walk away from. What show is he a judge on?

Dan Smyers and his wife Abby are very involved in Animal Rescue in NAshville.  Dan is one half of this Country duo who have hits like Tequila, Speechless and 10,000 Hours.  What's the duo?

People really do win on KSON! Throughout the month of May, we had you text in for the chance to win tickets to see Morgan Wallen at Petco Park and an autographed guitar. Yesterday, our grand prize winner Heather dropped by to pick up her guitar and got a little surprise. It wasn't just signed by Morgan Wallen, but a TON of other country artists!

The 100,000 High Five Tour continues as we deliver Jersey Mike's to listeners all over San Diego in exchange for high fives! Yesterday, we hit up ACCO Engineered Systems in Sorrento Valley all thanks to KSON Loyal Listener Shania.

If it seemed like KSON felt a little less cool over the last couple months, it could be because the coolest man on our staff has been missing! The legendary Kimo had to go out for rotator cuff surgery but today he is FINALLY back! We talked to the man himself this morning to see how he is feeling.
