There were plenty of SDSU alumni at Saturday Night's game in Houston, including John's daughter's boyfriend Zach. He was there with his parents who are also alumni and the experience was one they will never forget. We got Zach on the phone this morning to talk about the game Saturday and their plans for tonight if the Aztecs win! 

A lot of you have been speaking out wanting John's Padres Minute to be extended to at least two minute. Tammy and Producer Jessica are finally on board, but we've got a new boss and he's not a baseball fan... 

Carrie Underwood headlined Boots in the Park Saturday night at Waterfront Park and once again it was an AMAZING time! This morning we broke down the show, Jimmie Allen's jorts and why someone called Carrie a "highlighter in more ways than one."

In case you missed it, John was SO excited for Opening Day for the San Diego Padres! He thought he was going to miss it because of the weather delay but ended up going to the game. While there, he met two that had flown in just for the game and made all of us look a little foolish for complaining about the weather... 

It is a BIG sports weekend for San Diego and not just because of the Padres, but because the SDSU Aztecs are headed to the Final Four this weekend! We talked about the game this weekend and how we're going to keep up with the score while at Boots in the Park on Saturday.
