Day 271 | John 3:1–4:45; Luke 3:19-20

As John the Baptist’s disciples notice crowds shifting to Jesus, they express concern over losing influence. But John responds with humility: “He must become greater, and I must become less.” This pivotal moment shows John’s willingness to step out of the spotlight and exalt Christ above himself. His example challenges us to lay down pride, resist the pull of jealousy, and remember that the gospel is not about us but about Jesus alone.
