This episode with spoke with fellow military veteran and former pro wrestling referee and announcer Big D. We discuss our respective journeys in professional wrestling, as well as how are connection to professional wrestling impacted our respective military journeys. Frequent Guest and co host Nathan Neumann returns as well to join us as well.

This episode also touches on the impact of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in baseball, it's impact on the game and how it is felt today, as well as how baseball looked during segregation. After a hiatus for some personal matters, the sports nerd podcast is back!

We're excited to be back presenting content and it could not have come at a better time! Wrestlemania Season is upon us and heating up! Johnathan Fury is a retired professional wrestler and Iraqi Freedom veteran turned podcaster. He served 20 years in the MN Army National Guard and is now an aspiring businessman. He is a representative of both the veteran community, the black community, and the professional wrestling community. John Harrington is a fellow Iraqi veteran of color who served with Johnathan Fury in the MNARNG. He is a diehard Timberwolves loyalist, a basketball coach, and frequent flag football player. When he isn't on the podcast, he is coaching his children in sports and spends time with his wife and kids in his down time. He brings incredible basketball knowledge and an organic enthusiasm for professional wrestling!
