Johnny Scott

Ben Ford Special Guest on Pastor In A Cart Getting Coffee with Johnny Scott.  We talk Notre Dame Football and farm living in Indiana.

Welcome back to this weeks Reading and Bible concentration dive.  These videos are meant to build off of what we are experiencing as a body on the weekend experience and not necessarily stand alone.  Our current series is all about the things that Jesus left us to complete our mission of 'Connecting People To Christ'.  If you have a desire to participate in the mission but things don't seem to be clicking or working towards that then perhaps you need to engage this weeks tool.  SCRIPTURE.

In this dive we take a look at the greek word for 'Training' because that is what Deeper Dive is all about.  Is there a Star Wars connection?  Finnley thinks so.
I also pull out a favorite sermonizing resource and read a few quotes that are interesting.  Have a great week enjoying the things that Jesus has left us:
Here are the verses:
Psalm 19:7-13
Psalm 119:11
Hebrews 4:12
James 1:22
Mark 4:35-5:43https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laNUe2-m8lA

Deeper Dive is a weekly extended cut from the Lead Pastor Johnny Scott.  Johnny is the teaching pastor at Generations Christian Church in Tampa Florida.  Johnny gives extra bible reading plans and content to 'Dive Deeper' into the weekend message contents from the main stage teaching times at GCC.

The topic of this week’s message is as Deep as our God Himself is.  It really is a study on who He is and How we works. So this week’s Deeper Dive is super full and reminds me of the largest captivating rabbit hole of all time.  If you choose to jump in and follow the path of studying how the Spirit of God equips you personally you will find riches and depth unspeakable!

This weeks Reading:
Matthew 25:14-30
This passage will put a story to help us understand the accountability around the gifts we have been given.  We can choose to bury them or invest them.  Only invested talents become true spiritual gifts.

John 17:20-23
Imagine Jesus praying for you in the most personal way.  This is a great example of His earnestness for you to understand your place in this world.  He actually prays for you to be able to experience unity now in your reality.  We were on His mind.  See it for yourself.
