The first episode of the podcast that's about a new release. In this episode, I'm talking about how the frustration of not releasing songs quick enough has led me to change my recording approach and why I'm happy to sacrifice recording quality in an effort to remove some of the barriers to releasing my songs. Fool is being released November 30th 2021 and its my first solo release in 7 years (since 2014). • Memoirs Of: John McIvor & The Tizzlettes EP

Deep dive into my first ever professional release, this EP dates back to my University days of house sharing in 2008. Hear the songs from the EP while myself and other band members discuss how it all came together. It was an exciting time to live in London, the UK was being introduced to bands like Bon Iver for the very first time and London was becoming the mecca for a new brand of folk music. This is the first episode of the "Memoirs" series of the podcast where I talk about all of my previous releases.
