John's water baptism of repentance -just as any other water baptism- was not efficacious unto salvation. The only baptism that is efficacious unto forgiveness of sins, is Jesus' baptism of the Holy Spirit. Anyone who does not receive Jesus' baptism of the Holy Spirit, will receive Jesus' baptism of eternal fire. Jesus, superior to any man, is mighty to save and He is mighty to judge. The Truth is that there is a baptism of the Holy Spirit -administered to those who put their faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of their sins-, as well as baptism of eternal fire -eternal burning in Hell0 for those who don't repent of their sin and confess Jesus as Lord. Brothers and sisters, we must tell people the full Truth- Amen and amen.
