Here's my first entry for the year in AfriTunes community. This is one of the communities that I love the contents and engagements. Today I will be participating in the 108 edition by singing one of my favorite African songs by Nathaniel Bassey - "Tobechukwu." It is song of adoration and magnification to God. I hope the song will be a blessing to you.

### LYRICS

Tobechukwu, Tobechukwu

Tobechukwu, He has done it for me

Tobechukwu, Tobechukwu

Tobechukwu, He has done it for me

Even before I prayed

Jehovah Nissi answered me

Tobechukwu, He has done it for me

He has taken away my fears

And given me peace of mind

Tobechukwu, He has done it for me

See the way He answered me

Tobechukwu, Tobechukwu

Tobechukwu, He has done it for me

See the way He lifted me

Tobechukwu, Tobechukwu

Tobechukwu, He has done it for me

When I was worried and couldn't sleep

He was working behind the scene, o

Tobechukwu, He has done it for me

He has taken away the pain

And given me joy and victory

Tobechukwu, He has done it for me

Tobechukwu, Tobechukwu

Tobechukwu, He has done it for me

Tobechukwu, Tobechukwu

Tobechukwu, He has done it for me

See the way He lifted me

Tobechukwu, Tobechukwu

Tobechukwu, He has done it for me

Come and join me, worship Him

### Hello Friends!

In this week 6 Vibes Web3 Music Competition, I want to give adoration to my creator - God. As we celebrate Good Friday this week which signifies the suffering of His son on the cross, I want to use this opportunity and appreciate Him for redeeming me with the song that says "Before the throne".

LYRICS

Before The Throne is where we come

To offer praise and seek wisdom

You have torn the veil that separates

No more outside, now in Your grace

Before The Throne is where we come

To offer praise

And seek wisdom

You have torn the veil

That separates

No more outside

Now in Your grace

So we bow as we enter the throne room

And we cast ourselves down at Your feet

We cry holy, thou art holy, there is none like thee.

In Your presence is where we must be

It's a beautiful Friday and I'm excited to participate in the week 5 Vibes Web3 Music Competition. Special thanks to the initiator - @lordbutterfly for bringing out this skill in me. The contest has caused me to be consistent in my musical training, instead of sidelining it.

This week I'm presenting a song titled "Calvary Covers It All," originally sung by Hillsong. It's a song that reflects the redemptive power of Christ on the cross. I'm definitely sure it'll bless your heart. Below is the lyrics of the song.

#### LYRICS

#### VERSE

The Saviour alone

Carried the cross

For all of my debts

He paid the cost

Salvation complete

Now forever I'm free

Calvary covers it all

#### CHORUS

Calvary covers it all

My sin and shame

Don't count anymore

All praise to the One

Who has ransomed my soul

Calvary covers it all

#### VERSE

No power on earth

Not even the grave

Can separate us

From mercy and grace

He is faithful to save

Oh His blood never fails

Calvary covers it all

#### BRIDGE

No one but Jesus

Can make us pure as snow

We stand in Your freedom

Calvary covers it all

#### Hi Hivians!

***I'm here again! A few days ago, @lordbutterfly made me understand that the week 3 edition was over, so I've decided to run another cover that is week 4.***

The song title for my week 4 vibes web3 music competition is "You Raise me up" originally sung by Westlife. It is a song of building up one's faith above the stumbling blocks around. If you read the lyrics below, you'll see the heart of the songwriter as he explicitly shared the sound of hope and encouragement to those helpless and depressed with all manner of trauma.

Definitely I know as you listen to the song, you'll be blessed and revived in your inner being.

Here's the lyrics:

**[Verse]**

When I am down

And, oh, my soul, so weary

When troubles come

And my heart burdened be

Then, I am still and wait here

In the silence

Until you come

And sit awhile with me.

**[Chorus]**

You raise me up

So I can stand on mountains

You raise me up

To walk on stormy seas

I am strong

When I am on your shoulders

You raise me up

To more than I can be

**[Instrumental Break]**

**[Chorus]**

You raise me up

So I can stand on mountains

You raise me up

To walk on stormy seas

I am strong

When I am on your shoulders

You raise me up

To more than I can be

#### Hi Hivians!

***It's vibes web3 music competition week 3.***

I am super excited to join this innovative contest that brings out the best in people; special thanks to @lordbutterfly for being the backbone of this movement.

This week, I will be singing an inspiring song titled "I know that I can make it" by Kirk Franklin. I'm singing in memory of my down times when I lost everything - relationships, happiness, and I was in deep pain. But I got encouragement when I discovered the boundless love of Jesus who redeemed me from the shackles of shame.

Now I can confidently say that I find my joy in Jesus Christ, so irrespective of what I go through, I definitely know I will end well. Here is the lyrics below, you can join me listen to it and stay blessed.

**LYRICS**

You don't have to worry

And don't you be afraid

Joy comes in the morning

Thank you, Jesus

Troubles they don't last always

For there's a friend named Jesus

Hallelujah

Who will wipe your tears away

And if your heart is broken

Just lift your hands and say

Oh, I know that I can make it

I know that I can stand

I know that I can stand

No matter what comes my way

No matter what may come my way

Jesus, my life

My life is in your hands

### Hi Hivians!

Today, as a way to launch my week with creative artworks, I decided to initiate a new way of showcasing my drawing process of [Holozing](https://holozing.com/) creatures.

The video explicitly shows the actions behind the scene while the work was on.

#### Equipments Used:

- Pencil

- A4 paper

- Colour pen

- Eraser

Oftentimes, I begin my drawings from the head region before going to other parts of the body.

After taking time to draw the hair, I drew the headset, face, and other components that made up the head section.

Moving forward, I drew the coat of the creature, and also ensured its symbol was also well drawn.

Finally, I did a detailed painting of the creature using colour pen.

***This was the outcome of the whole artwort!***

Help me rate the artwork, friends.

***Vibes Music competition week 2 a cover of YOU ARE GOOD by @johnuko.***

The Vibes web3 music competition has made me explore another skill - singing, and today I will be glad y'all listen to my entry.

I am @johnuko and the title of the song I'm presenting is called "you are good" originally sung by David Nkennor. It came from the inspiration of how life has been with me over the years but at the end of it, I come out victorious, triumphing and overcoming. I won't cease to appreciate the founder of this initiative, @lordbutterfly, you have made the skills of many people both the youths and old people come back to life.

In regards to my song, people do sing it as a worship or in the form of a hymn, but in all, it is one of my favorites. I hope this entry will once again be a blessing to you.

[Lyrics:](https://worshipiswide.org/track/2034048/you-are-good)

You are good

You are kind

I have never seen your kind

I'm devoted to your praise

And forever to your name.

Indeed, the song is a form of gratitude to my creator who saw me through in the dark times and good times.

I definitely know it is a blessing to you and your soul.

Enjoy your beautiful weekend

Thank you ❤️

### I love you y'all.
