This week on the the Jolt Podcast, Kristi and Kyle are joined by Miss Trinity Saiz. Trinity is apart of our amazing kids team at Awaken Church and is a member of Kristi and Mariah's young adult ladies community group. The three of them discuss how to have a conversation with someone who "hates religion" and then dive a little deeper into the qualifications that made up the "Magnificent 7" which we learned about in Acts 6. This week Kristi is joined by Matt and Krystal Flores to dive into the Holy Spirit. The three do their best to explain the trinity as well as what took place during Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came upon the crowd. The first sermon series that Awaken Church is starting 2021 off with is, CHURCH. What did the CHURCH look like in the book of Acts? Does it look the same as the church does in 2021? The members at Awaken Church were given a homework assignment at the end of the message this weekend. It was to read Acts chapter 1-4 and then to start to answer the question, does the church today look like the church Jesus set up with His disciples and apostles in the book of Acts? Kristi, Brit, Cisco, and Kyle in this episode take on the homework assignment together and start to unpack and tackle that very question. SO LETS GO!!!!!!!
