I love talking to remixers as its where I started out so it was wonderful to chat to the  brilliant Jon Dixon who has worked as a remixer as part of Almighty and 7th Heaven working with artists including, Cher, Steps, Kylie, Barry Manilow, Ariana Grande,, Whitney Houston, Britney Pet Shop Boys and Donna Summer. He’s also an acclaimed producer and long time collaborator for the fabulous Jane Mcdonald working on albums and TV shows with her. We talk about his process including a step by step approach to creating a remix from scratch and reminisce about the very limited technology we both started out using and how sometimes having less options can be very inspiring.
