One of the very best ways to improve our family realtionships here on earth is to improve our raltionship with Heavenly Father.

We each belong to 3 families: The Family of God the Father; the Family of Christ; and our earthly families. To make the third one eternal, we must fully embrace the first two.

The Lord has revealed two steps to make our families eternal: 1. Make the right covenant; and 2. Keep that covenant. We may have emphasized the wrong one.

In our pursuit of an "equal partner" perhaps some are looking in the wrong place.

While so many in the world try to blur the lines between men and women, the Family: A Proclamation to the World declares the need for both in the family. Fathers and Mothers each have unique contributions and when they fulfill their role as equal partners, families are the most successful.

Oh how Heavenly Father and the Savior love children. To win the deepest appreciation from God, we simply need to love and protect a child. The Father has declared that they must be cared for of those responsible for them will stand accountable.

Husband and wife have a solemn responsibility to love and care for each other. The Lord emphasizes this with the symbols.
