¡Saludos amigos de #Hive y #SWC! Espero se encuentren muy bien. Por acá comparto un video de fotografías en el cual están varios momentos de lo que fue el 1º Versus por Categoría 2025, evento en el cual fui parte del equipo organizador. Esta competencia se realizó en la Playa Manaure, en la ciudad de Punto Fijo, estado Falcón, Venezuela.
El 1º Versus por Categoría 2025, representó todo un reto para mí; como todos los eventos que realizamos dentro de SWC, nuestra comunidad deportiva. Para llevar a cabo un evento están involucrados la planificación y la organización en varias fases. En esta oportunidad hubo que realizar varias actividades antes de que se realizara la competencia.
Greetings #Hive and #SWC friends! I hope you are doing well. Here I share a video of photographs in which there are several moments of what was the 1st Versus by Category 2025, event in which I was part of the organizing team. This competition was held at Manaure Beach, in the city of Punto Fijo, Falcon state, Venezuela.
The 1st Versus by Category 2025, represented a challenge for me; like all the events we do within SWC, our sports community. To carry out an event, planning and organization are involved in several phases. On this occasion, several activities had to be carried out before the competition took place.
Visita preliminar a la ciudad de Punto Fijo
Fue la primera actividad que realizamos, una vez que fue aprobada la competencia en el estado Falcón. Nos dirigimos a las instalaciones donde se tenía previsto realizar el evento. Como primera opción fuimos al Club Náutico y luego a la Playa Manaure; donde se realizó el evento, ese espacio nos pareció un lugar más atractivo para realizar el evento y con mucha mayor participación de las personas que estarían viendo el evento. Una vez seleccionado el lugar y concretar los detalles para realizar la competencia allí, nos fuimos a la ciudad de Maracay para seguir con todo lo relacionado a la organización del evento.
Preliminary visit to the city of Punto Fijo
This was the first activity we carried out, once the competition was approved in the state of Falcón. We went to the facilities where the event was scheduled to take place. As first option we went to the Nautical Club and then to the Manaure Beach; where the event was held, that space seemed to us a more attractive place to carry out the event and with much greater participation of the people who would be watching the event. Once we selected the place and finalized the details to hold the competition there, we went to the city of Maracay to continue with everything related to the organization of the event.
Una vez en la ciudad de Maracay, se organiza cada detalle
En este momento nos dedicamos a seleccionar el tipo de atuendo o vestimenta deportiva para el evento, ubicar proveedores para el traslado de las barras portátiles y los implementos y el traslados de atletas desde Maracay hasta la ciudad de Punto Fijo. También se ubicó información sobre medallas, lanyers, certificados, carpetas, franelillas, bolsas para la premiación de los atletas del pódium, entre otros aspectos.
Un día antes de la competencia me dirigí a la ciudad de Punto Fijo. Yo me fui el día viernes 7 de marzo, en el vehículo de carga; con las barras portátiles y los implementos de la comunidad para realizar el montaje de la competencia. Además llevamos todo el material que se mandó a elaborar para este evento. Salí a las 9 de la noche de Maracay y llegué alrededor de las 5:30 de la mañana a la ciudad de Punto Fijo.
Once in the city of Maracay, every detail is organized.
At this time, we selected the type of sports attire for the event, located suppliers for the transportation of the portable bars and implements and the transportation of athletes from Maracay to the city of Punto Fijo. We also located information on medals, lanyards, certificates, folders, flannels, bags for the awarding of athletes on the podium, among other aspects.
A day before the competition I went to the city of Punto Fijo. I left on Friday, March 7, in the cargo vehicle; with the portable bars and the implements of the community to carry out the assembly of the competition. We also took all the material that was sent to be elaborated for this event. I left at 9 o'clock at night from Maracay and arrived around 5:30 in the morning in the city of Punto Fijo.
El día del 1º Versus por Categoría 2025
Una vez en la ciudad de Punto Fijo, reposamos un rato hasta que vinieron a apoyarme los chicos de Falcón, que estuvieron conmigo realizando el montaje de las barras portátiles y todos los implementos de la comunidad. Empezamos a las 8:00am y ya a la 1:00pm ya teníamos todo el montaje listo en el lugar previsto. Nos costó mucho y se preguntarán, ¿por qué duramos tanto tiempo? Fue una situación relacionada con la topografía de la playa; es decir, la playa es un poco inclinada y tuvimos que nivelar el área para que las barras portátiles estuvieran niveladas y no tuviese ningún problema el atleta a la hora de rea
Luego de unos minutos de espera, cerca de la 1:30pm, llegó el bus que venía de Maracay. Ese autobús se alquiló para trasladar a los atletas. Al llegar se dirigieron a la posada donde tenían su almuerzo. Yo me retiré de la playa hacia la posada para almorzar junto a los chicos que me apoyaron, luego de almorzar y de reposar un poco; nos dirigimos hacia la Playa Manaure donde se realizarían los preparativos finales para empezar este increíble evento.
The day of the 1st Versus by Category 2025
Once in the city of Punto Fijo, we rested for a while until the guys from Falcón came to support me, who were with me setting up the portable bars and all the community equipment. We started at 8:00 a.m. and by 1:00 p.m. we had the whole setup ready in the planned place. It took us a long time and you may ask, why did it take us so long? It was a situation related to the topography of the beach; that is, the beach is a bit sloped and we had to level the area so that the portable bars would be level and the athlete would not have any problem when it was time to set up the portable bars.
After a few minutes of waiting, around 1:30pm, the bus from Maracay arrived. That bus was rented to transport the athletes. Upon arrival they went to the inn where they had their lunch. I left the beach to the posada to have lunch with the guys who supported me, after lunch and a little rest; we headed to Playa Manaure where the final preparations would be made to start this incredible event.
Al llegar me senté en la mesa para empezar la inscripción de los atletas que participarían en el 1º Versus por Categoría 2025. Participaron atletas de tres categorías: amateur, semi-profesional y profesional. Se inscribieron todos los atletas que participarían, Cabe destacar que participaron atletas de los estados Aragua, Apure, Bolívar, Carabobo, Falcón, Táchira y Zulia. Los jueces fueron atletas de alto rendimiento de los estados Aragua, Apure, Carabobo y Falcón.
Después de finalizar las inscripciones de los atletas en cada categoría, se dio inicio a este evento. Me senté al lado de la mesa técnica de jueces para apoyarlos y atenderlos, en caso de que tuviesen alguna duda en cuanto a los registros de la evaluación de cada atleta. Después que los jueces ya estaban familiarizados con las planillas de registros y ya no tenían ninguna duda, me levanté un momento para tomar algunas fotografías con la cámara que adquirí hace algunos meses. En Playa Manaure, en el marco de la competencia, estuvimos hasta las 7:45pm que terminó el evento. Luego procedimos a desmontar las barras portátiles y todos los implementos de la comunidad. Me apoyó en esta tarea, mi amigo Kleiber Martínez y Maikol Mavarez, entre otros atletas de la organización de Falcón Street Workout. Terminamos alrededor de las 9:30pm, y al finalizar el desmontaje de todos los implementos de la comunidad, lo subimos al vehículo de carga que se fue, esa misma noche a la ciudad de Maracay; donde nos esperarían hasta el día siguiente para descargar el camión y guardar todo en el depósito.
Upon arrival I sat down at the table to begin the registration of the athletes who would participate in the 1st Versus by Category 2025. Athletes from three categories participated: amateur, semi-professional and professional. It is worth mentioning that athletes from the states of Aragua, Apure, Bolivar, Carabobo, Falcon, Tachira and Zulia participated. The judges were high performance athletes from the states of Aragua, Apure, Carabobo and Falcón.
After finishing the inscriptions of the athletes in each category, this event began. I sat next to the technical table of judges to support and assist them, in case they had any doubts regarding the evaluation records of each athlete. After the judges were already familiar with the record sheets and no longer had any doubts, I got up for a moment to take some pictures with the camera I acquired a few months ago. At Playa Manaure, as part of the competition, we stayed until 7:45pm when the event ended. Then we proceeded to dismantle the portable bars and all the implements of the community. I was supported in this task by my friend Kleiber Martinez and Maikol Mavarez, among other athletes of the Falcon Street Workout organization. We finished around 9:30 pm, and at the end of the dismantling of all the community equipment, we took it to the cargo vehicle that left that same night to the city of Maracay, where we would be waiting for us.
Luego que el camión partió a Maracay, nos fuimos a la posada donde reposaríamos y pasaríamos un buen rato en compañerismo y hablando con diferentes atletas, ya que no todo el tiempo ni en todos los eventos podemos compartir con diferentes atletas de cada estado. Para mí, como lo mencioné en un principio, cada evento es un nuevo reto que asumo con disciplina, responsabilidad, compromiso y dedicación. Al final siempre doy lo mejor de mí para que el evento transcurra de la mejor manera y sea un reto que asumimos con excelencia, como fue en el 1º Versus por Categoría 2025.

After the truck left to Maracay, we went to the posada where we would rest and spend a good time in fellowship and talking with different athletes, since not all the time or in all events we can share with different athletes from each state. For me, as I mentioned in the beginning, each event is a new challenge that I take on with discipline, responsibility, commitment and dedication. In the end I always give my best so that the event runs in the best way and is a challenge that we assume with excellence, as it was in the 1st Versus by Category 2025.
