But the heartbeat you’re going to feel in this conversation is his passion for holiness, purity, and building a family on purpose — not by accident, not by pressure, but by hearing God and obeying Him.

Maybe you’re already a dad. Maybe you became a father unexpectedly. Maybe you planned it. Maybe you’re still deciding. But regardless of how you got here, the most important question isn’t how you became a father…

It’s why.

The word why has the power to expose motives, clarify purpose, and realign your heart. Scripture tells us in Hebrews 4:12 that the Word of God is living and active — discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. In many ways, the question why does the same thing.

Why did God say, “Be fruitful and multiply”?
Why did He command mankind to fill the earth and subdue it?
Why would He look at Abraham and say, “I want more of you”?

Friend, fatherhood was never just about biology.
It was never just about passing on your last name.
It was never just about fulfilling instinct.

It is about propagating the knowledge and love of God into the earth.

Fatherhood is one of the most powerful kingdom strategies God ever designed.

And even if you’ve never had biological children, this conversation still belongs to you — because multiplying the love of God isn’t limited to DNA. It’s about influence. It’s about legacy. It’s about transmitting what you know about God into the next generation.

So today, we’re going to talk about legacy.
We’re going to talk about multiplication.
We’re going to talk about how you can change the world — maybe not the whole world — but someone’s whole world.

If God were looking across a line of men, would He say, “I want more like him”?

You’ve heard the phrase: “The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.”
That’s not poetry — that’s strategy.

God placed dominion in the heart of mankind in Genesis 1. That drive to build, to lead, to expand, to take ground — that’s not ego. That’s design. The question is: what are you going to rule? What is God trying to place under your leadership?

One of the greatest gifts He wants to entrust to you… is children.

There is a demographic war happening in the world right now. Cultures understand that whoever wins the nursery wins the future. Whoever raises the next generation shapes the earth.

So the question becomes — will you live for comfort?
Or will you live for impact?

My parents decided before they were married that they would have twelve children. They ended up with fourteen. That wasn’t about diapers — though there were about 55,000 of those changed along the way. That was about vision. They weren’t trying to survive life. They were trying to change the world.

And here’s the truth:
Vision gives you power to endure suffering.
Without vision, you quit.
With vision, you endure.

Hebrews 12 says that Jesus, “for the joy set before Him, endured the cross.” There was something ahead of Him that made the suffering worth it.

Today I want to talk to you about that joy set before you as a father.
About raising leaders.
About dispersing influence across the earth.
About building a house with your name on it — like the house of David.

This isn’t about ego.
This is about legacy.
This is about God working through your obedience.

So sit back for a few minutes. Let’s talk about what it really means to change the world — starting at home.

And they believed the most strategic way to do that wasn’t through politics, not through wealth, not through fame — but through raising sons and daughters who would carry influence into the earth.

That’s vision-driven fatherhood.

And whether you realize it or not, there’s something inside you that wants to matter. There’s something inside you that wants to lead, to build, to shape history. That hunger isn’t accidental. It was placed there by God.

The question is:
Will you let that drive you into ego and ambition…
or will you channel it into the sacred influence of fatherhood?

There’s been a real attack on fatherhood in our culture. Families fractured. Roles confused. Men unsure of who they’re supposed to be. And if you weren’t fathered well, how do you become the father your children need?

Today we’re going to start with one foundational word:

Presence.

What does it actually mean to be present?
What if you’re divorced and only see your kids one day a week?
What if you’re in the home but emotionally distant?
What if you’re carrying wounds from your own past?

We’re talking about practical ways to show up — not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. We’re talking about safety. We’re talking about healing what needs to be healed so your children are protected — even from your own unresolved pain. And we’re talking about something powerful that changes everything:

Celebration.

Because the most loved person in the room is often the one who loves others first.

So let’s lean in today. Let’s grow. Let’s get better. Let’s become the kind of fathers our children feel safe with, proud of, and drawn toward.
