Following Jesus can be difficult especially when we begin to take our faith seriously. We can lose friends when we don’t want to do what they do anymore. We can get fired for refusing to lie for our boss. We don’t get those invitations anymore because nobody wants to hear us talk about Jesus. Today we will see how this plays out for Mary and Joseph as Joseph has a decision to make: Care more about what God thinks or care more about what others think.
