In this episode, we meet with Josh Meibos, the 2018 Arizona Education Foundation Teacher of the Year and a National Board Certified Teacher of Physical Education.  We discuss the impact of being named Teacher of the Year, his educational philosophy, ways that he collaborates with his colleague of various subjects to make learning better for his students, his experience successfully advocating for more unstructured play (AZ Senate Bill 1083) in front of the Arizona House Legislative Education Committee, SB 1083's impact on student learning as students return to school and the importance of kindness and mindfulness.
