Amy Wright connects on a call with Joshua Fleming, founding member of one of Texas’ most notable country punk bands, the Vandoliers. Vandoliers are known for distilling the Lone Star State’s diverse musical identity into a raucous, breakneck vibe that’s all their own. 

After spending much of the last three years furiously writing and recording music, this Dallas-Fort Worth six-piece is back with The Vandoliers, a new album that proves they’re tighter than ever. In this interview, Fleming breaks down the making of the self-titled album for us, and shares all about the roots of the band.
