Born in Santa Monica, CA, and raised in Fawnskin, CA, Hoffman moved to New York City after graduating high school and studied recorded music at NYU. He creates, records, and performs music under the name Calvin Kingston. He describes his style as eclectic and fun. Playing the piano is his favorite way to unwind after a long day of filming.
