On this episode I got a chance to speak with speaker, author and event planner Layllen Sawyer. We spoke about Layllen's time at Midwestern State University and how the lessons she took from college helped her grow and evolve. The season two opener features Joella Roberts. And I highly encourage you listen to this one. Joella is University of District of Colombia alum and co=founder of Migration Matters. The first organization to center undocumented immigrants at an HBCU.
