McVay and Shanahan used to coach together and have a lot of the same ideas on offense. Jared Goff seems back on track this season and has been taking less risks throwing the ball and it's paid off so far. Sean McVay said in the offseason that he wanted to structure his running back core like the 49ers and has done that so far this season with a 3 headed monster in the backfield.
