Bryan Fischer here with the Life and Liberty Minute. We’ve said since the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak that hydroxychloroquine, taken within the first five days of symptoms, can stop coronavirus in its tracks and provide protection from future infections. It turns out the American Medical Journal agrees with us. A study posted in its January edition found that early treatment of coronavirus patients with hydroxychloroquine lowered the mortality rate for the disease, and found that immediate use of HCQ, while the patient was still at home, showed significant benefits. Overall, 171 peer-reviewed studies showed 67% of patients improved in early treatment trials. 440,000 people worldwide have died with COVID. If we’d listened to scientists instead of bureaucrats, who knows how many of those people would still be alive?
