I start the episode when a depressive episode was coming on and end it speaking about how long it’s been since an episode. I’ve come a long way in accepting my illness and not doubting it. Reminder that you are not your illness.

This is the story of my relationship with food and how I developed disordered eating. I’ve struggled with food from the age of 5 years old and still struggle every day. My relationship with food affects how I see myself and my body image. Reminder to always watch your language around food and never comment on others food intake.

More about irritability and how to respond rather than react when you get frustrated. Also a little insight into my (nonexistent) romantic life.

When I am in a depressive state I tend to get very irritable and let every little thing bother me. I also take out my anger poorly on friends and family. In addition, the new year brings an emphasis on dieting culture that adds to the struggle of those that fight food and body image issues.

Do you ever lay in bed and wonder about the afterlife or your unconscious mind or why you’re here in the first place? Me too. Let’s unpack it a little.

Episode 3 discusses how change can affect us and strategies to deal with change specifically in COVID-19. It also addresses mental illness and current personal struggle narrative.
