Society often portrays Muslim woman as being oppressed but in actuality Islam liberates us. You can see this liberation by just looking at the status of women in Islam.

Allah tells us we will be tested in this live, and tested we will be. Throughout all my grandmother’s life she was tested with her family, poverty, oppression, but it did not break her, because who’s to say the strength you have isn’t enough. And when she found Islam it opened doors for her in life. And she is still tested but she’s grateful, and know why she is tested and like everything this will soon pass too.

For years Islamophobia has been a thing. Especially after 9-11 people hatred for Muslims increased. This prejudice an dislike for Muslims and Islam still continues to affect us around the world every day.

Girls are often judged more harshly in the eyes of society. And in many cultures around the world women are seen as less then mean. A lot of the times Muslims over lock the rights of women in Islam and mix culture with religion, but if in Allah’s eyes we are judged equally and equal held accountable for our mistakes dispute our gender, then as Muslims we should view each other and the same.
