Our negative thoughts do not have to control us. We get to choose what thoughts we meditate on. In this battle for our mind, we must identify the lies of the enemy, bind them, and replace them with faith in the truth of God's Word. This is making the thought obedient to Christ. Pastor Mike encourages that we take up the weapons God has given us to defeat the enemy so that we walk in victory and the power of Gospel.

In week 3 of the Winning The Battle Of The Mind series, Pastor Mike Mozingo continues to encourage believers to shift our thinking onto the truths and promises of God over the lies of the enemy and the emotions felt. God is walking in the battle with you and He has already won. He is a good shepherd and He prepares a table for His children to meet their needs. He remains faithful. We can rejoice even when life gets hard because we are in the presence of God of our salvation.

We can consciously choose our thoughts. Pastor Mike Mozingo encourages us to replace ungodly lies with scriptural truths. We can identify the lies disguised as emotions, and recognize the circumstances around us do not defeat us. Instead, we can focus on the good shepherd who has promised victory to those who put their faith in Him.

It is common, many of us are victims of own minds, consumed with negative thoughts that seem to control us and these thoughts shape how we live. Our mind is indeed a battlefield. As followers of Christ, we have the ability to consciously choose our thoughts and replace the lies of the enemy with scriptural truths. Jesus is truth and God's Word is truth and He is with us and will never forsake us.

Sometimes we can feel insignificant. Pastor Tony Mest brings the challenge to change our thought process to live in faith that we matter to God. God choses to use each of us, different parts of the body of Christ to change lives. If you know Jesus and love others don't hold back on the hope you have, share it. We are not insignificant, we are invaluable to God.

Pastor Mike Mozingo brings the truth of God's Word to combat the emotions that leave us doubting God's love for His children. We can be assure He is always present and the gift of Jesus Christ as Lord brings His children freedom, life and peace. In our lives we can see the storms around us, but we can be reassured in a God who present and personal. We can fix our eyes on Jesus, we can seek Him first and trust His that He provides all that is needed to walk in freedom.

In this week's message, Pastor Mike encourages us that God is in the business of revival and calling His church to repentance and obedience. When we surrender our lives to Jesus, it changes us forever and fills us with purpose. Believers experience life as they have never experienced it before. God gives His Spirit to live in faith that despite troubles that come our way, we have overwhelming victory through Christ who loves us.

On the 17th Anniversary, Pastor Mike Mozingo looks back and highlights what God has done through the years at Journey Church and reminds us that God is faithful and is calling people unto Himself. He uses His Church, each person filled with His Holy Spirit to live sacrificially in committed obedience to using the gifts God has given us to be a part of His building of the body of Christ.
