#1 – YES, YOU’RE COMPLEX, BUT YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE COMPLICATED.
How many of you know someone that is COMPLICATED?
Could be anyone…mother, father, sibling, friend, co worker, in laws, really …at times we can all be complicated.
DEFINITION OF A COMPLICATED PERSON -
Unpredictable, Inconsistent, Being in their life means you have to a special knowledge of their difficult ways. Even then you don’t know how they will act. Only thing you can be sure of is that the response will be dramatic because they are controlled by their emotions
COMPLEX PEOPLE – Have many facets, many parts but are consistent and strong. They draw their strength from their deep roots and can process their emotions without being shaken by changing circumstances.
COMPLICATED – Means that you are hard to deal with. People always walking around on eggshells. You don’t know if it will make the happy, sad, upset, angry. Compllicated People are exhausting.
A Complicated Person will not accomplish near as much as a complex person because they are controlled by their emotions…up, down, happy, sad.
#2. NO. YOU’RE NOT PERFECT. BUT YOU CAN BE POISED
Definition of POISED - composed, dignified, and self-assured. To be balance.
Poised is not perfection, it is strength under pressure.
A poised person knows how to control their emotions. The don’t necessarily suppress their emotions but they learn when to let them out.
EMOTIONS ARE A GOOD THING, but it NOT a good thing to be controlled by them.
A POISED PERSON GOES TO GOD WITH THEIR FEELING INSTEAD OF RUNNING AROUND VOMITTING ON EVERYONE WITH THEIR PROBLEMS.
IF I GO TO GOD FIRST – GIVE TO HIM – SEND PEOPLE – HE WILL BRING THE RIGHT PEOPLE
What is beyond my control is within His control.
