For many a 7-mile walk does not sound great. However, we hear in our reading even when our eyes cannot see a wonderful walk. Sadly, just like our lesson today, we too have eyes that don’t see the journey but are bogged down in the effort of walking. Even gathering in worship, we can miss the joy of being with our risen lord today. For even when Jesus appears as a stranger, he is still there, however, the walk of faith is more wonderful when we know who is with us. What impact does your walk with Jesus have on your life?
