Journey Into Mystery [vol 2] #12 (1974)

It is October so we are going hardcore on spooky and monster-related books. To kick it off, we jump into JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY which has nothing to do with Thor and friends. This run was an anthology series that collected old Marvel and Atlas fantasy stories.

In this particular issue, the writer of ZOMBIE ZOO falls victim to a vampiric Smurf; a genie grants a nihilistic child unlimited wishes; a Spencer’s Gifts gimmick sphere predicts George Costanza’s wife’s death; and a millionaire jokester terrorizes party guests with his Gremlins pneumatic chair.
