He is a voice actor, audiobook narrator, and podcaster, and can be heard co-hosting the Dunesteef Audio Fiction Magazine and That Gets My Goat podcasts, where he and Big Anklevich entertainingly waste much of their time. He also features his own stories on the Rish Outcast podcast.  He has been a writer of short stories all of his life, but has only recently begun to share his work with others. But regardless of the journey, there should be action, plot, motivation, and choices.  Observations of pensive thought is not what I’m looking for. William Legrand has found a rare golden beetle, and with it, perhaps the pathway to a buried fortune.   To download, right-click here and then click Save Edgar Allan Poe was born on January 19, 1809 and became an American author, poet, editor and literary critic. Best known for his tales of mystery and the macabre, Poe was one of the earliest American practitioners of the short story and is considered the inventor of the detective fiction genre, as well as the genre of science fiction.  He was the first well-known American writer to try to earn a living through writing alone, resulting in a financially difficult life and career.  Poe died in 1849,  in Baltimore, under mysterious circumstances, but he left us with a legacy of tales of wonder and woe, the marvelous and the macarbe. Big Anklevich and Rish Outfield are the editors and hosts of the Dunesteef Audio Fiction Magazine, where they present wonderful full cast stories of speculative fiction.  Their banter could not be contained within a single podcast, and thus it has spilled out into their side conversation podcast That Gets My Goat.  They are both writers themselves, and often feature their own work.
