As empaths we give hard and love even harder. A crucial and challenging step we must learn to take is identifying the energy vampires in our lives.

I Interview my wife, Karen. She learned, about 4 years ago, that she identifies as an empath and INFJ. Growing up in a narcissistic dynamic had been confusing and traumatic so this new information brought a lot of clarity. Ever since then she has been learning to have better self love and also how important it is to self-care. She was often misunderstood by her family growing up and pinned as the scape goat because of her sensitivities.
