On this week's episode I talk with one of my childhood friends Alecia Collins. Alecia shares the story of her struggles both emotional and physical. And how despite everything that was thrown at her to make her fail, she used those bricks to build her own path.
Alecia is very candid about her journey. She does not shy away from the lifestyle and life choices that many would look down upon her and judge her about. She's not ashamed of the abusive relationship she stayed in, or the incarceration of her brother, or the mental struggles of her mother.
On the other side of the struggle is the victory that Alecia lives in now. Alecia is the published author of two books, owner an operator of a corporate cleaning service, real estate developer, and community advocate/speaker, event promoter, and much more!
Alecia's journey is not just one of perseverance, but inspiration and motivation.
