Paul explores this idea in great detail but while doing so, he makes it clear that the gospel is without a doubt perhaps the greatest demonstration of God's wisdom and power. Today, we kick off a new book! The first epistle we have to the Corinthian church! Perhaps no other epistle we have today deals as directly with practical church issues like this one. So stay tuned, there's a lot to cover. In this introductory teaching, we explore the nature of Corinth, why Paul had to write this letter, the problem of division, and the topic of water baptism.
