As part of the American Hero Series, listen to Mark DeLuca talk about the importance of mindfulness and meditation, especially for military veterans. This is our official kickoff to a new season where we are focusing on continuing research on meditation. We look forward to connecting with the best thought leaders in the field.
This research examines evolutionary adaptation and the toll that human pollution burdens upon other living species. I will focus attention to crickets who will be our focal point for this study. I am excited to help other researchers in parallel with their own research project. I will lightly talk about that during this expedition. I must gather data from different environments to have analyzed. This will include remote wilderness with no known human influence, rural, and city locations. I will use satellite and LiDAR technology to look back at ancient human influence and how that has shaped nature.

The following is a talk Mark DeLuca delivered live at TEDx Ultra Arena.
There are people who walk in the shadows and stare evil in the eyes. The tip of the spear, blessed with aggression. They are the sheepdog. Then there are people who have no idea that this evil exists, and if it ever darkened their doorstep, they wouldn’t know how to protect themselves. They are the sheep.
Look closely and you will find comparisons between war, mindfulness, meditation, wilderness, and adventure sports. A magical experience happens which is known as the flow state. During this period your neurons begin to fire quicker, therefore making your brain frequency increase. You become hyper focused and achieve pure mindfulness. You’re able to think 3 to 4 steps ahead and feel intoxicated with energy. This practice is something that I have researched for many years and have had the privilege to connect with leading practitioners from around the world. I am a Marine Corps veteran, explorer, researcher, technology leader, and adventurer at large. My name is Mark DeLuca.
We meetup with Heather Sapp, a honeybee expert who shares important knowledge about how bees live. This is part of our Smart Colony research. This research has been published in our Journey To Earth children's magazine. If your interested in gifting a magazine to children around the world, please visit our website.

A subterranean network that allows for trees to communicate to one another across great distances. Could better understanding this world of quantum mechanics and entanglement help us to understand some of the world's greatest mysteries? To better understand, I set out on an expedition into the wilderness.
Scott joins us to share an interesting UFO incident that happened to him. We explore the anti-universe theory, life away from planet Earth, and discuss thought invoking topics.
