The Bible has a lot to say about how we raise our Children. God has sustained His church for over 2000 years by showing us how to pass the baton to the next generation. This wisdom is good if you are a young couple just starting out. It is also good if you are single and plan on a family one day. It's good if you have older children and its good if you are Grandparents and want to minister to your grandchildren. In other words, God has it all covered! 

Does God really command us to give 10% of our gross salary as an offering? According to many churches in this day and age, the answer is yes. But what does God have to say about this? Nobody likes being deceived, but Satan has been deceiving us since the beginning of time. He wants us to think how great we are, and that God has nothing to do with it. So while he deceives us, we are also deceiving ourselves, because we believe the lie. But the Sin of Pride carries a stiff penalty, and that is God's judgement. In a perfect world, all of our family members would be saved. We would have the assurance of spending eternity together praising The Lord. But the reality for many of us is just the opposite. We are left to wonder what awaits them on the day of judgement. In this episode we talk about the struggles of this reality, how to deal with evangelizing them, and how as the spiritual leaders of the family we can do our part in bringing them The Gospel.

When we think about Idolatry, we often refer to Old Testament Israel and the worship of the Golden Calf or some wood carving. But Idolatry in the 21st century has taken sin to a new level, one that we may never recover from. Gratitude is an attribute of a mature believer. We know that every good and perfect gift is from above... We are not worthy of anything, and we certainly can do nothing to earn it.
