In this episode Celeste will discuss her college experience during an institutionally transformative time period for Bryn Mawr. Celeste will discuss the beginning of her freshman year in 2020 during the pandemic and the strike. She will share the development of her identity as a transracial Asian adoptee alongside the development of Bryn Mawr DEI programs which have facilitated some of her own research on adoptee identity. Finally, Celeste will share her hopes about work still to be done at Bryn Mawr and will explain how her experiences at Bryn Mawr contributed to her interest in perusing a career in education.
