Journey to the rock: A golfing odyssey

It’s the Christmas special and the final episode of the year – and it’s a big one.

Dan finally puts the much-talked-about £650 LAB putter into play… but does it actually help on bobbly winter greens, or is it just another expensive experiment? The lads break down winter putting, long lag putts, three-putt avoidance and whether stats even matter when the greens are awful.

Meanwhile, Rob delivers the update everyone’s been waiting for: MRI results are in. What does that mean for golf and whether the Journey to The Rock can continue into 2026?

There’s also plenty of:

• Winter golf reality checks
• Skins games, snakes, and saving money on post-round beers
• Training aids, alignment fixes, and honest self-assessment
• Why winter golf can make your putting stats look worse… even when you’re playing better

The journey continues – but not without a few setbacks.

In “Injuries, Fittings & Winter Chaos,” Dan and Rob return after a hectic two-week break — and everything has changed. From surprise 40th-birthday revelations and new equipment fittings to unexpected injuries and disrupted winter-league plans, this episode dives into the highs, lows and absolute chaos of chasing golfing progress during the cold months. Whether you’re grinding through your own winter golf journey or just enjoy hearing two mates battle setbacks with humour, honesty and stubborn optimism, this instalment is one you won’t want to miss.
