Mental health isn't just about managing symptoms—it's about understanding the whole person.
In this week's episode of Journey to Well, I sit down with holistic mental health advocate Miriam Putnam for a conversation that challenges the traditional approach to mental health and explores what true healing can look like. Miriam shares her personal journey into the mental health field, what inspired her passion for helping others, and why looking beneath the surface is often the key to lasting change.
Together, we explore how underlying physical health, chronic stress, nervous system regulation, relationships, and even sleep all play a significant role in our emotional well-being. We also dive into the power of mindset, positive affirmations, and how our thoughts can influence our body's stress response.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, burnout, chronic stress, or simply looking for practical ways to better support your mental well-being, this episode offers a compassionate reminder that healing is deeply personal—and there is no one-size-fits-all approach.
In this episode, we discuss:

Every person carries a story—but too often, women are taught to shrink, silence, or question their own.
In this powerful conversation, I sit down with Kayla Branstetter to explore what happens when we choose visibility over shame, compassion over judgment, and curiosity over assumptions. Together, we dive into the experiences that shape us, the stories society tells about women, and the courage it takes to reclaim our own narrative.
We talk about trauma, motherhood, survivor empowerment, and why healing begins when we create spaces where people feel truly seen and heard. Kayla shares her perspective on challenging harmful stereotypes, supporting survivors without judgment, and the importance of recognizing that every person's path is different.
This episode is an invitation to look beyond first impressions, question the stories we've inherited, and remember that compassion has the power to change lives.

There is a wisdom within you that has always known how to heal.
In this heartfelt conversation, I sit down with Dr. Colleen Quinn to explore the profound healing potential of breathwork and why something as simple—and often overlooked—as our breath can become one of the most transformative tools for healing trauma, regulating the nervous system, and reconnecting with ourselves.
Together, we unpack how our life experiences shape the way we move through the world and how conscious breathing creates space to soften old patterns, reconnect with the body, and access our innate capacity for healing. We also how healing isn't about becoming someone new—it's about remembering who you've always been.
Our conversation moves beyond techniques and into the heart of what healing really asks of us: vulnerability, surrender, compassion, and the willingness to witness every part of ourselves—even the parts we've spent years trying to hide.
In this episode, we discuss:
• How breathwork supports emotional healing and nervous system regulation
• Why conscious breathing deepens meditation and presence
• The body's remarkable capacity for self-healing
• Breathwork vs. psychedelics: similarities, differences, and integration
• Reparenting, inner child work, and healing through self-compassion
• The importance of witnessing instead of fixing yourself
• How surrender, trust, and love become catalysts for transformation
• Essence merging and reconnecting with your authentic self

In this episode of Journey to Well, I'm joined by Laura Patac for a meaningful conversation about reinvention, self-discovery, and coming home to yourself. Together, we explore why reinvention isn't about becoming someone new—it's about peeling back the layers of expectations, reconnecting with your values, and remembering who you've been all along.

Before another year begins, I wanted to pause.
In this deeply personal solo episode, I'm reflecting on what it means to celebrate another birthday—not just with cake or candles, but with presence, honesty, and gratitude. Birthdays have always brought up mixed emotions for me, and this year felt like an invitation to slow down, look inward, and honor everything this season of life has held.
I share why I've often resisted celebrating myself, how my definition of success has shifted from constant achievement to genuine contentment, and why peace has become something I value more than productivity. We also explore the beautiful tension of holding grief and joy at the same time, giving ourselves permission to rest, and recognizing that growth doesn't always look like doing more—it sometimes looks like simply being.
If you've been moving through a season of transition, questioning where you are in life, or feeling the pressure to constantly chase the next milestone, this conversation is your reminder that you are allowed to pause, reflect, and celebrate the person you've become.
This episode is an invitation to honor yourself exactly as you are.
In this episode, we'll explore:
If this episode resonates with you, I'd love for you to share it with someone who needs permission to slow down and reflect.

What if healing doesn't have to take years?
In this episode of Journey to Well, I sit down with Stephanie Kwong, co-founder of the Rapid Rewire Method, to explore one of the biggest questions in personal growth: Can deep healing really happen quickly? Together, we unpack the skepticism surrounding "quick fixes," the difference between temporary relief and true transformation, and why lasting healing isn't about bypassing your emotions—it's about changing your relationship with them.
Stephanie shares how the Rapid Rewire Method helps people release emotional patterns at their root, creating freedom from limiting beliefs, shame, self-judgment, and old stories that keep us stuck. We also dive into the often-overlooked role of integration after breakthrough moments and why healing isn't about becoming someone new—it's about remembering who you are underneath the conditioning.
Healing isn't measured by how long it takes—it's measured by how deeply you're able to come home to yourself.

What if the life you're trying so hard to create isn't meant to be forced—but remembered?
In this episode of Journey to Well, I sit down with Shannon Presson for a heartfelt conversation about Human Design, self-discovery, and the courage it takes to surrender to the life that's calling you. Together, we explore what happens when we stop resisting our natural energy and begin honoring the way we were uniquely designed to move through the world.
We dive into the inspiration behind her beautifully written book, The Unexpected Story and The Dragonfly Path, and how storytelling, symbolism, and everyday moments can become powerful guides for healing and transformation.
We also explore the concept of the "four stories" we all carry, how childhood experiences shape the narratives we believe about ourselves, and why compassion and curiosity are two of the most powerful practices for navigating life's challenges.

Grief is something every one of us will experience, yet it's often one of the least understood parts of being human. In this heartfelt conversation, I sit down with Kelly Edmondson to explore what grief really looks like beyond the loss of a loved one. We talk about the many forms grief can take—from the end of relationships and career changes to shifts in identity—and why healing isn't something we "complete," but something we learn to move with.
Kelly shares powerful insights on the cyclical nature of grief, the importance of allowing ourselves to fully witness our emotions, and how developing the capacity to be present with our pain can become one of our greatest sources of healing. Together, we discuss how we can choose our response to life's hardest moments, transform pain into purpose, and create a meaningful legacy from the people and experiences that have forever shaped us.
Whether you're actively grieving, supporting someone you love, or simply wanting to deepen your understanding of the healing process, this conversation offers compassion, practical wisdom, and a reminder that you don't have to navigate grief alone.
