In this episode I share a story of how I received Godly advise and counsel from two powerful women of God for a situation I was facing and related it to the story of Jethro (Moses's father in law) and Moses. We all need to have wise people around us and be able to take counsel from others. Who do you turn to when you need advice? Turn to the Holy Spirit first and allow him to lead you to the people who can advise you regarding your particular situation.

If you are a single mother or father raising children in today's society I want you to know that you are not alone and if you lean on God for help it makes your parenting better. Single parents are individuals who raise their children without the support of a partner. We tend to manage all aspects of parenting, from providing emotional and financial support to making important decisions about their children's education, health, and well-being. We as single parents often juggle multiple responsibilities, balancing work and family life while striving to create a nurturing and stable environment for their children. Despite the challenges, many single parents find strength, resilience, and fulfillment in their journey, drawing on their inner resources and often relying on community and faith for support. Lean on the word of God and his promises when you are feeling alone or helpless. I love you all and God bless you!

In this podcast, I dive into the profound spiritual journey of Jesus Christ during His 40 days in the wilderness. According to the Gospels, immediately after His baptism, Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. This period was a pivotal moment in His ministry, filled with trials, temptations, and profound spiritual growth.

• Solitude and Reflection: Jesus' time in the wilderness was one of solitude and deep reflection. Away from the distractions of daily life, He communed with God, preparing Himself for the mission ahead. This teaches us the value of seeking quiet times to connect with God and reflect on our purpose.
• Overcoming Temptation: During His time in the wilderness, Jesus faced three significant temptations from Satan. Each temptation was an attempt to derail His mission and compromise His integrity. By steadfastly relying on God's Word and His identity as God's Son, Jesus overcame each challenge, providing us a model for resisting temptation and standing firm in our faith.
• Dependence on God: Jesus' wilderness experience underscores the importance of total dependence on God. When tempted to turn stones into bread, He responded that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. This reminds us that our spiritual sustenance is paramount and that God's provision is always sufficient.
• Spiritual Strength and Preparation: The wilderness was not just a place of testing but also one of preparation. Jesus emerged from the wilderness strengthened and ready to begin His public ministry. Similarly, our own wilderness experiences can serve to refine us, strengthen our faith, and prepare us for future challenges and opportunities.

Jesus' example in the wilderness can guide us through our own times of trial and temptation.

In this episode I am talking about people, places, and things. In order to have a  growing relationship with the Lord, all things must become new. We, as well as people, places, and things, become new. We may continue with our place of employment and we may continue living with our families, but both become new. They are new because we now represent Christ to our fellow workers and to our family. Our associations tend to be with like- minded Christians connected through the Spirit. Our number of associations will increase as we minister and become known in God’s family throughout the community. Those with whom we spend most of our time, and the places we go, and the things we do have all changed. We have not only replaced sinful places and things, but we have also replaced worldly things, for Godly ones. If we want to be a Godly person we spend time with Godly people. If we spend time with worldly people we start following the ways of the world. People, places, and things, if any one of these is changed, then all three normally change. If we hang around worldly people we end up going with them to worldly places and doing worldly things. Becoming this new creation is the process of being molded to the mind and heart of Christ. The more Christ-like we become the more we understand God and the closer relationship we have with him.

In this episode, I am telling a story about how I had to fight in a dress as a grown woman! Be careful who you call your friend(s). Most of the time the people we call friends really be people we are in a situationship with. God revealed to me on several occasions that this person was not my friend. He was a user and was only around me for his own benefit and gain. If you have a big heart or are a very loyal person, please ask the Holy Spirit about your friend circle. I hope this testimony helps you and open your eyes to people you have around you.  

In this episode, I explain how God began to change me during my prison experience of two years. The key to being changed is surrender and submitting your will to God. One of the key things I learned while incarcerated was people, places and things and how they all play a vital role in one’s success in life. New life in Christ starts and continues when we acknowledge him as leader over all we are and do. Then we must accept his leadership daily by being rooted, built up, and strengthened in the faith. Christ wants to guide us and help us with all our decisions and challenges. You can live for Christ by committing your life and submitting your will to him. Seeking to learn from him and more about him, his life and his teachings. Lastly, recognizing and utilizing the Holy Spirit's power within you.

In this episode you will learn more about April Love and how I went from the Prison to the Pulpit. The God I serve is a God of restoration and he also redeems the time. My life has not been easy but I'm able to give God all the glory for every part of my story. When the bible says "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose" Romans 8:28 this is an example of the scripture. There is purpose in everything and make no mistake about that, it's all for the glory of God. Hallelujah!!  

In this soul-stirring episode, I explore the profound concept of spiritual lowliness and its transformative impact on our lives. That even in a low place God can bless you and use others to do it. Lodebar is mentioned in the Bible in the Old Testament, specifically in the books of 2 Samuel and the Book of Jeremiah. The most notable reference is in 2 Samuel 9, where it is associated with the story of Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan and the grandson of King Saul.

In 2 Samuel 9:4-5 (New International Version), it is written:

"So where is he?" the king asked.
Ziba answered the king, "He is at the house of Makir son of Ammiel in Lo Debar."

King David then sends for Mephibosheth, and later, he shows kindness to him for the sake of his father Jonathan. Lodebar is described as a place where Mephibosheth was living, and it is often interpreted as a barren and desolate region. In biblical interpretation, Lodebar is sometimes seen as a symbol of spiritual desolation or a place of lack and need. The story of Mephibosheth, however, also reflects the theme of God's grace and the unexpected kindness shown by King David, illustrating a redemptive aspect in the midst of desolation.
