Danielle Shaw and is a journey’mam’ Ironworker/welder with Local 97 Ironworkers in Vancouver, BC. She has been in the trades for about 7 or 8 years, originally as a very green welder with little experience, until she stumbled upon the office of the Ironworkers with a resume and super keen attitude. From there her real apprenticeship commenced and has become a red seal ironworker. Danielle is also a mother of two, pregnancies through her apprenticeship and has been lucky to have a great union to support her through this journey.
