Hey everyone, it’s Sensei Victoria Whitfield, your journey partner from naturalintuition.com, welcoming you back to episode 55 of the Journeypreneur Podcast. This is your source for channeled holistic stress management techniques, guidance, inspiration and motivation to stay on your path to rapid financial ascension and massive impact as a conscious entrepreneur.
You are in for a treat today. I have my dear, dear friend Andrew Mellen, “the most organized man in America.” You can find him at andrewmellen.com for supporting him. Please make sure you like, subscribe, share, follow him because we have got a juicy topic for you and that is Being The Shepherd Or Being The Sheep.
We’re talking about staying on our path. We were just talking about this, before we hit record. Andrew was on a roll dropping all of the nuggets of what he has picked up on in his journey as an entrepreneur and how things have evolved over the years, how he has made room for himself and serving others. So, Andrew, take it away.
Andrew Mellen:Well, hey Victoria and hello everybody, it’s so good to be with you today.
Victoria Whitfield:So good!
Andrew Mellen:So, what we were talking about was the idea that, we are all on a journey. I’m on a journey. You are on a journey. Everybody who is listening is on a journey. It’s a journey. I mean we might have a road map, there might be some milestones on the journey when we look back, but it’s sometimes, often times uncharted and so, we are boldly stepping forward without knowing where exactly we are going.

Hey everyone, it’s Sensei Victoria Whitfield, your journey partner from naturalintuition.com, welcoming you back to episode 54 of the Journeypreneur Podcast. This is your source for channeled holistic stress management techniques, guidance, inspiration and motivation to stay on your path to rapid financial ascension and massive impact as a conscious entrepreneur.
The title of this podcast episode is Your Body Feeds Your Mind.
I wanted to share with you an insight that came out as I am preparing a PowerPoint for a group of women executives that I’m going to share with them about embodying their inner Medicine Wheel and how to really keep themselves grounded and clear as leaders of their teams, but specifically for that in a corporate environment.
The information that I am sharing with them is based on the Native American Medicine Wheel which is an incredibly powerful symbol of balance, wisdom, and it’s a wonderful self-assessment tool. It has provided a lot of healing and direction for me personally, so I’m really excited to get to share that with these awesome women so that they can better serve their people as mindful leaders in the corporate arena.
And one of the things about the Medicine Wheel is that it shows the relationship between our head and our heart, our body and our spirit. As I was putting together the PowerPoint presentation, there was a really powerful talking point that I wanted to share with you, that could, maybe can help you on your way right now.

The title of this podcast episode is Your Royal Role.
So, in the last podcast episode, if you didn’t listen to it, you’re going to want to jump back to Biomimicry In Business because this is a continuation of that conversation that we were having yesterday. We brought up this idea and we began the conversation around looking to the wisdom of the honey bee to help us in organizing a business that can play an infinite game, as Simon Sinek would say, or a business that can stand the test of time and work at scale.
Now, there are three levels of support that you need in order to do this successfully, and have set up in the first place. We went over that in the first podcast episode, episode 52, so make sure you check that out.
But today in particular we’re going to talk about the importance of knowing your role in all of these levels. So, once you have those three levels of support, what is required of you to make sure that the system continues, over time? Well, that is knowing your royal role.
And that is you being the Queen of your business, whether you are male or female. Ready for this?

Hey everyone, it’s Sensei Victoria Whitfield, your journey partner from naturalintuition.com, welcoming you back to episode 52 of the Journeypreneur Podcast. The title of this podcast episode is Biomimicry In Business.
So, it is summertime at the recording of this podcast episode and this is a natural time of the year for me personally to step back, unplug and really sink into more of my own personal energy; reconnecting with myself apart from all of my responsibilities, apart from my business, apart from me being a member of my family, apart from all the things that I am participating in, organizations, coaching programs and so on.
It’s really for me to unplug and reconnect with Myself - and I mean MYSELF, in capital letters. And especially during this time of the year it’s harder and harder to for me personally to be in the computer, be in the cell phone, to go live and do all of these digital things, so I am really grateful for my team supporting me in that.
And as I unplug, what helps me to get to stay in this state of reflection and review, is nature. Maybe you get your best ideas when you are going for a walk in the forest or by the oceanside, or perhaps you get the best ideas when you are petting the dog or petting the cat, or maybe while you’re gardening.
There’s something about being out in nature that really helps me personally, I’ll put it on me, to clear my energy and to really tap back into myself, my true self, I know I have to get outside.

So, you are in for a treat today. The title of this podcast episode is Don’t Pretend Your Grass Is Greener and in fact that title came from our guest today: Chantelle Paige Turner.
She founded Stronger Mommy, where she creates a safe space for mothers of special needs children to come together, pool resources and lift each other up on that journey of parenthood. And we are on a roll right now.
We are talking about not pretending your grass is greener. Chantelle, take it away. What’s dropping in for you for our listeners?
Chantelle: Awesome Victoria, thank you for having me on, and yeah we’re talking about that and I was just saying that, you know I think so often, we’re looking around at the different people that are out there in our space and on social media today, obviously it’s a lot more competitive than it used to be, right?
Because we are not all standing there at the water cooler telling our favorite stories. We’re constantly posting the best versions of our lives up on social media, and so it’s easy to look at somebody else and think "oh my God their grass is so green," right?
Everybody is familiar with this saying where you think their life is perfect. Things are so nice, you know, on their side of the fence. And, I think because of that, we end up in some ways trying to paint our own grass. That starts to makes sense.
You know, we’re out there and we’re with the spray-paint can pretending our grass was just watered and it’s growing like crazy, but in reality we just spray-painted it green for the party, and that’s the picture that we are going to post.
