The Bible teaches that God established the standards for right and wrong when He laid the foundations of the world. But recently, politicians and policymakers have become self-appointed authors of moral law. Dr. Robert Jeffress shows how the spiritual decline of today’s culture is a sign of turbulent times ahead.

When times are good, it’s easy to rely on ourselves. But when calamity strikes, we need a support system. In this message from Jeremiah 17, Pastor Lutzer shows three resources we have in drought times: God’s Word, God’s presence, and God’s people. Are we connecting with fellow believers so that we can all bear fruit together?

This morning, I have some good news and some bad news for you. The good news is that our President, Donald J Trump is the most pro-life, pro-Israel, pro- religious liberty president in the history of the United States. The bad news is that he is not going to be president forever.
And he knows that. That is why he is working at break-neck speed to do his part to fix what’s wrong with our country and our world. There has never been a president who has accomplished more in his first six months in office than President Trump.
Donald Trump understands his God-given purpose—the question is do you understand yours? In Matthew 5, Jesus used two images to explain why He left those of us who are His followers here on earth: “You are the salt of the earth . . . You are the light of the world.”
“Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. - Hebrews 13:2. The Bible gives us so much about practicing hospitality! Jenny interviews author and expert at real-life hospitality, Annie McCune will tell you hospitality doesn’t have as much to do with the table linens or the food as it does opening our heart to others. Her book, Practicing Hospitality: The Joy and Grace of Loving Strangers takes us on the adventure of following Jesus! Hospitality breaks down barriers and blesses others, as well as ourselves. When we show hospitality to others, we follow Jesus’ example of welcoming all to the table! God's loving Spirit has graced you with the Gift of Hospitality. Are you using it?
Annie recounts the story of one such experience being alone in a foreign country in a recent TED/X talk she was selected to present.
Christians are called to live differently from the rest of the world. That requires a different way of thinking. From his sermon series in the book of 1 Peter, today R.C. Sproul reveals that much of the fight for personal holiness takes place on the battleground of the mind.
