Poultry farmers lament impact of drought on production; warn available feed may last one month. They say the current drought has led to the shortage of grains which possess a serious threat to the industry as they run out of feed for their birds. The farmers have disclosed that most of them have feed that could last for only one month.

The World Bank has revealed that it will start disbursing some US$830 million for various projects in Ghana before the end of 2024.

The bank, however explained that this will be dependent on parliament passing three loan agreements currently before the House for consideration.

Bank of Ghana to implement measures to sustain the recovery of the cedi.

Some Oil Market Companies (OMCs) say they will reduce the prices of fuel at the pumps if the cedi continues to show signs of stability. This comes after the Institute for Energy Security projected stability in the prices of petroleum products in the second-pricing window of the month of August due to the combined effects of the slowed depreciation of the local currency and the international market activities.

Some oil marketing companies have started reducing their prices. Market leader goil now sells a litter of petrol at ¢14.20 and diesel at ¢14.09.
