In Jesus’ moment of greatest struggle, he went back to the garden of Gethsemane, where he had a habit of praying and hearing from the Father. In the same way, we also should make a habit of withdrawing to a private place and waiting on the Lord, so that we can find strength and deepen our relationship with God.

How we relate to our earthly father colors how we relate to our. heavenly father. Our heavenly father is love which casts out fear.

In the face of real and painful situations in people’s lives, Jesus’ response was not to rationalize or explain or judge but to do the works of the Father. As we seek to follow Jesus’ example, we will sometimes need to lay down our need to understand and just be simple, brave, and obedient to God’s plan on the earth.

The veil has been torn and our normal routines of interaction with God has changed.

It is normal in our world to expect that we have to do something better to qualify ourselves for more blessing and favor from God. Jesus challenges this expectation and instead urges us to take a childlike approach to a wonderful God.

Our battles are spiritual and not in the natural. We wake up and put on the armor of God daily so we can stand against the enemy.

When the Bible says we are “more than conquerers,” this isn’t just an empty statement. The source of our victory is the fact that God loves us, and we can never be separated from his love.

So often, our lives feel very big and full of concerns. In the midst of those concerns, we have an opportunity to worship God by inviting him into our lives and acknowledging that he is bigger than whatever we may be worried about.

Circumstances and challenges can be loud in various seasons of our lives, but God provides us an eternal perspective.

What truly satisfies the depths of your heart? The key to being in step with the Spirit is to feed your Spirit-man so that you are truly satisfied with being in His presence.
