02_Joy In Covid
It’s no secret quarantine has been difficult for everyone and something we can all agree, it’s been a challenge but a grate question to ask is how can we find joy in the mist of quarantine? Christy Love and Stephen Dela Cruz shed some light on this question. Quarantine aside, how do or can we expect the unexpected? You can’t! It’s all about mid over matter. Ultimately stress happens because we tend to set expectations and when those expectations aren’t met, we get upset. It may not sound as positive but “Nothing last forever” meaning this quarantine isn’t forever. Stephen touches base on Niro Linguistic Programing (NLP) - “Choose your words wisely” using the word “if” isn’t as effective as using the word “when.” “What you see is what you receive.” Adding on to that, our minds are very powerful and we need to nourish it with changing our inner and outer dialog. Christy adds, “Don’t let excuses be the one that stops you! If we lived a life without excuses, how much further would we be in life?” What would your life look like?
