What does it mean to live in abundance? Abundance is a mindset, the aspect of overflow, not a lack of. Abundance doesn’t mean the amount of money in your bank account, it can mean having an abundance of love, support, gratitude, and many other things. The more you give the more you get, it’s the law of attraction. Now let me ask you this, what do you have an abundance of right now?
Fear is all in your mind! It’s a “story” we tell our selves and believe it. Question is how can we change the “Story”? Think about your inner dialogue. Are you feeding your mind with negative thoughts? “You are what you eat” and yes, that metaphor works in many ways. Take a moment to acknowledge when your having negative fearful thoughts and replace them with positive statements. Now that’s one step closer to living a life by design.
What if I told you, only 90% of all the things you're scared of will never happen. perspective is simply a vision we create and with that vision we have to keep in mind, just how powerful our mind is because what you see is what you get. Meaning, our subconscious mind doesn't know the difference between what's real and fake. Now ask. yourself, what are you telling yourself? What's your story? Lastly, what will you gain?
What does it mean to love yourself? There’s no wrong answer because everyone is different. Meaning, you are unique. Christy Love and Stephen Dela Cruz talk about what self love means to them and what it means to appreciate yourself. What do you enjoy doing? It’s important to do things every day that bring you joy and to appreciate the time you spend with yourself. Christy also mentions a quote, “when in front of the mirror that’s where we’re most critical of ourselves.” Now ask yourself, what do you say to yourself? Once you shift your mindset, you become the person you want to be. Another important point made was, if you feel like a victim stop playing the roll of a victim. It’s simple as accepting a complement and complementing those around you. You’ll come to find yourself feeling more confident.
Gratitude attracts things to you. This comes from the law of attraction form the book “The Secret” but there’s also a biblical term, sowing and reaping generosity, “what you sow is what you reap.” Sound familiar? Your mind, and body is capable of so much and being grateful is as simple as acknowledging a small act of kindness or the fact that you’re alive today. Christy Love did a 30 day challenge to write down 100 things she’s grateful for everyday. Day one was a life changing experience simply because there’s so much we take for granted.
Why is believing in yourself so hard sometimes? Christy Love and Stephen Dela Cruz dive into the the subject of belief. What’s your inner monolog like? If all you say are negative comments towards the people around you or yourself, it will become a reflection of who you are. Believing in yourself begins with you being kind, inside and out. Albert Einstein’s definition of insanity is, doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome. Now that’s truly insane! Take a moment to reprogram yourself meaning, only manifest positive thoughts and that will soon reflect who you are internally and externally.
Heath is a big topic and can be a little intimidating sometimes but Christy Love and Stephen Dela Cruz talk about their struggles and successes when it comes to health. The first big tip Stephen gives is negativity will only encourage negative thoughts, so be nice to yourself! Christy also adds on how important it is to envision your goals because it helps you self motivate. They also talk about why they decided to get healthier and how they’re keeping up with it during quarantine.
What’s your definition of confidence? Christy Love and Stephen Dela Cruz talk about confidence and three tip to feel and be more confident because “practice makes confidence!” Plus , no one is born confident. It’s all fake! How? It’s a taught behavior but the more you confront it, the easier it becomes.
What does it mean to have a vision? Christy love talks about the steps to improve the quality of your life. First things first, stop and think. What does your dream life look like? What gives you joy? A life by design holds so much value because it all started with a vision to help you live your dream life. Some people find it easy to dream but find it hard to take the first step. Others may find it hard to create a vision and weather it’s a vision or taking action, the best person to seek advice from is Stephen Dela Cruz. Many individuals believe that the first question to ask yourself is what is my identity? Stephen points out we’re constantly evolving. The person you were a year ago might not be the same person you are today. We all face obstacles and at times being told what to do or who to be makes us feel like we’re living for someone else. Take a moment to sit and think about what stirs you up inside. Really take a moment to think about your past and why you believe your standing here today. What is your purpose? Everyone has a purpose and everyone has a reason to feel grateful, You are blessed because “what you’re struggling with, someone is praying for.”
Why do people need forgiveness in their lives? “Having unforgiveness is like you drinking the poison and expecting the other person to get hurt” Forgiving is hard no doubt about it but how do we forgive our past? Christy Love shares about the time she experienced feeling deep hate for someone and that’s when she decided to read as many books as she can to be able to forgive her ex. A big question she came across was, what’s it like to be in their shoes? What’s their prospective? Learning to have empathy such an important part of healing. Stephen adds on by saying, “hurt people hurt people.” He also talks about how much he loves the musical Wicked. Why? The wicked witch of the west was never wicked. She was simply hurt. Therefor she hurt people. Just like we’re not perfect, we’ve all hurt someone at some point in our lives and most times it’s not intentional. No one in this world was born to hurt you. Letting yourself to feel bitter and letting that take over your life is called self sabotage. Forgive starts by forgiving yourself, your past, and your future.
