DIG IN QUESTIONS
In light of this week's message, we encourage you to consider these questions and dig in a little deeper with your personal study, with your family, or with your small group.
Read Philippians 3:1-11
1. The Apostle Paul would tell us that true Joy comes from knowing Jesus. What are some things that you have chased after or done that may have given you momentary pleasure but did not bring lasting joy?
2. What are some things that fellow Christians have done to distract you from finding Joy in knowing Jesus?
3. How do you know Jesus best: Intellectually, Emotionally, Theologically, Theoretically or through personal experience? Explain.
4. Read Matthew 13:44. How does this parable show us the value of knowing Jesus?
5. Are there things that you value more than Jesus? Things that you have pursued, accomplished, or only dreamed of accomplishing? What are they? How can you place knowing Jesus above them?
6. Do you crave an every day, doing whatever it takes, in-it-all-the-way knowledge of Christ Jesus? Take a moment and pray that God would fill you with that desire.
