Saints, we must face the truth about “The Commission of the Apostles Pt. 3” as outlined in Acts 2:37-47. The early church didn’t thrive on lukewarm faith or twisted doctrine. It didn’t look to human inspiration but called for repentance, heart and soul. God seized and pricked the hearts of men, not with soft words but with the thunderous truth of His divine standard. That day, they cried, “What shall we do?” And Peter, firm in his commission, gave them the unflinching answer: repentance, baptism in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and the promised Holy Ghost. Ain’t no shortcuts, saints. If you’ve been wandering off, it's time to adjust course. God has laid it down plain and simple—get right with Him or risk losing all.

Listen, friends, the apostles were tested and trained by Jesus Himself. They stuck with their divine training, refusing to peddle a watered-down gospel. They preached repentance and born-again living—not out of convenience or financial gain, but because souls were at stake. The early church understood togetherness, knew the power of oneness, and didn't let possessions cloud their mission. They shared all they had, tearing down walls of division. What’s that tell you? Listen up, folks, because this is critical. "The Commission of the Apostles Pt. 2" pushes us to the edge of understanding just what it means to be steered by the Holy Ghost. God didn't just blow a gentle breeze on that day of Pentecost; He sent a rushing, mighty wind that birthed the Church as we know it. This study tells the tale of those disciples like a band of brothers—strong, unified, ready for the impossible. But it raises a solemn warning too: It's not enough to be in the same room—you've got to be on one accord. Any misunderstanding you hold onto strains the unity required for the Spirit to flow.

Some folks think they can play church like it’s a game. They’ve made a mockery of God's living Word, diluting the Holy Ghost to just noise and spectacle. But let me be clear: God will not be mocked. When Jesus commanded His apostles, He didn't send them out with empty words; He armed them with His Spirit. "The Commission of the Apostles" delves into Acts 1:1-20, where our Lord gave His final marching orders with unyielding clarity. God hasn’t changed—we have. "The Same Salvation" study blasts through the fog of false doctrine and modern-day misconceptions with the raw, mighty truth of the Gospel of Acts. God doesn't deal in shortcuts or random actions—He has an order, a divine rhythm that orchestrates His purposes, and expects us to maintain His sequence. In "God's Order of Operations," we stare into the heart of God’s precise expectations, recognizing that Cornelius, a devout man who feared God, had to learn this firsthand (Acts 10). He was a man of prayer and good works, yet without the truth of Christ spoken into his life through Peter, his righteousness left him short of salvation. Cornelius had a reverence for the Almighty, not knowing that even his virtue needed to fall in line with the divine protocol. Good intentions or actions are not enough—obedience is. God laid out a pattern—His order—and He won’t adapt it to fit our preferences.

Now hear me plain: salvation isn’t for sale with good deeds or pious acts. It requires submission to God’s plan, His timing, and His appointed messengers. Though Cornelius did much good, he was not yet saved until he obeyed and aligned with God’s ordained path. We may think we can bypass the order—skip to the blessings without the process—but God doesn’t work on our whims. He moves through appointed steps. If that checks you, it’s because it should. Salvation opened to the Gentiles not by accident but through clear, divine command fulfilled by a man of God, Peter. So let the Spirit guide you through the fear, doubt, and conformity, trusting that God’s methods, however meticulous, are crucial to leading you to His truth. Remember, God’s house must be built in His order, or it won’t stand at all.

Friends, I won't mince words here because souls are on the line. The plain truth of “The Whole Picture” is this: John 3:15-16 ain’t a golden ticket. Get real, get secure, and grab hold of the salvation that transforms. Remember, this isn’t just about getting into Heaven—it’s about letting God get into you.

In this second part of "Back to the Basics," it’s high time we strip away the confusion around the name above all names—Jesus. Listen up: it ain't enough to skate by on titles like Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Those are roles, not identities. You get bothered by this? Good. Let it stir you into understanding that the bedrock of true salvation isn't about playing fast and loose with the truth. It's about knowing the One who saved you. We see it laid plain when Saul, a wise man in the law, meets Jesus on the Damascus road and gets knocked flat by the revelation that the Lord is Jesus (Acts 9:4-5). Misunderstanding the basics can lead you astray, just like it did Saul until his eyes were opened.

If your baptism hasn't been in the name of Jesus, then it's time for a soul check. Paul wasn't afraid to tell believers they needed to shake off old misconceptions and be baptized anew in the name of the Lord Jesus (Acts 19:1-5). You might've been wandering with half-truths and lukewarm beliefs, but you're called to build your faith on a true foundation: one that's Jesus-centered and Spirit-filled. Embrace the truth in love—repent, be baptized in Jesus' name, and receive the Holy Ghost. That's the path. That’s the basics. You don't get to build your house on sand and call it sure. It’s Jesus or bust, and I say it because your soul's worth more than comfort and complacency.

Get ready to get back to the basics and face the hard truths that your soul has been sidestepping. The foundation of salvation is simple—but simplicity ain't the same as easy. In this study, the emphasis is rooted deeply in the words of Jesus himself: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 28:19). Not titles, not positions, but the name—Jesus—a name that holds the power of heaven and earth, the only name given among men whereby we must be saved. You better listen up because there’s no salvation without understanding this foundational truth.

This ain't no pick-and-choose buffet of doctrine where you get to skirt around the truth. Many have been misled by half-truths and traditional fluff. False doctrines and whispered misconceptions have kept people blind to the simplicity and gravity of the Gospel. It’s time to throw off the shackles of ignorance. If you’ve been baptizing yourself in anything less than the name of Jesus, you’ve missed the mark. It's crystal clear: to be born again means to die to confusion and rise in clarity. Jesus didn’t come clothed in ambiguity—he came with power, authority, and a directive as sharp as a two-edged sword. It’s time to repent, recalibrate, and rebuild on the cornerstone of Jesus’ name. Stand up, hear the truth, and let it set you free.
