As we progress in life and increase in knowledge, we tend to become puffed up. Displaying humility is the ultimate show of strength. It takes a great deal of power to stand down and submit. Christ lived a life of humility and in return asks that we do the same. It has a great reward if we are willing to give it a shot!

As we look around us, many things will distract us from God. We can see the division all around us from race to politics to your favorite sports team! The enemy sure knows how to cause us to hate one another. As we observe the scripture though, we must see the bigger picture, that all of these things are a part of God’s plan!

One thing is for certain, there is a limited time we all have on this Earth. This means we have a limited opportunity to get ourselves right with the Lord. Don’t take this lightly. Really examine yourself and not how you may not have the same problem as someone else. Whatever you do, don’t fail God’s grace and miss your chance to be saved.

Have you been baptized before? If yes, I will ask you to examine how it was performed closely. Many are baptized today, sprinkled, oftentimes as a baby. Is this accepted by God? There is nowhere in scripture where we can prove that God will accept this. Others were baptized with the famous phrase, “Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.” Can we find anyone baptized this way? The answer again is no. Tune in as we look at this controversial topic to make sure that we are doing things the way God instructed us.

We’ve said it so many times. “I believe God. I trust God.” The more the Lord reveals to us, the more we must realize that we must learn these things. It doesn’t happen overnight. No matter how long we’ve been on this journey, there is still more to learn.
