In week one of our series, Joy, Pastor Gabe teaches from the opening verses of Philippians, also known as the Book of Joy. Not only is Paul in prison and awaiting a verdict that could result in his death, he's facing uncertainty, yet his joy didn’t hinge on favorable circumstances, nor did it hinge on knowing an outcome. It's in the first few verses of this letter that we learn the secret to Paul's joy, which is the secret for us as well.
