If you ask an average person what words come to mind when they think about Christians “joy” is probably not high on their list. And yet Jesus was full of joy. In this message we explore the kind of joy Jesus talked about and discover how to achieve it in our lives.

Questions to reflect on and discuss from this message:

1. What words first come to mind when you think about joy?

2. What does it mean to you to hear Jesus say “rejoice that your names are written in heaven”?

3. How would your life be different if you were able to live with the kind of joy Matt talked about (joy that is independent of your circumstances and instead dependent on Jesus)?
